Enjoyed Breakfast
with Santa
N
early 175 APV children
and their parents had the
pleasure of having Breakfast
with Santa on Saturday,
December 19. The highly
anticipated community event
filled up almost as soon as the
notification went out.
Attendees were treated to a
delicious hot breakfast while
Santa roamed from table to
table speaking to and taking
photos with the children. Once
the finished their delicious
breakfast, the children could
meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and
get a gift before departing.
Members of Poinciana High School’s Eagle Construction Program who
collected 229 toys for the event, served as “elves” during the event.
Construction instructor, Irwin Inwood said, “We do this every year. It’s an
exciting day for these kids because they can
see the difference they make. “
APV Board of Directors Chair, Dottie McStay
who pitched in and helped wrap gifts, said,
“It’s nice to see the community come together
for the kids.”
Thank you, Osceola County Commissioner
Brandon Arrington, Poinciana High School
students and the
exercise class
that meets in the
APV Community
Center for the toy
donations that
were distributed.
