NOTICE OF HOLIDAY CLOSING:
All Association of
Poinciana Villages, Inc. Offices will be closed on Monday,
February 17, 2014 in observance of President’s Day .
The Association of Poinciana Villages, Inc. celebrated it’s twentieth Annual Christmas Parade on
December 14th, 2013 with great sucess. With over 55 organizations that participated spreading joy
to the community, especially our children. Immediately after the parade, our annual Battle of Band
was held with our High Schools, entertaining the audience with their performance. The event ended
with live entertainment, venders offering a wide variety of their cusine and snacks for our delight.
Without a doubt, it has been one of the most successful years in terms of mass participation in our
community that was organized and offered by the APV. The judges recognized the following entities
in a different categories to bring the best of themselves to our people:

La Asociación de Poinciana Villages, Inc. (APV) celebró su vigésima parada de Navidad el sábado, 14
de diciembre con 55 organizaciones participando y esparciendo alegría a la comunidad, especialmente
nuestros niños. Inmediatamente después de la parada, se llevó a cabo la competencia de las bandas de
nuestras escuelas superiores llamado “Battle of
the Bands” que deleitaron a la audiencia con sus
melodías, culminando con música y comerciantes
ofreciendo una variedad de alimentos y refrigerios
para nuestro deleite. Sin duda alguna éste año
ha sido una de las más exitosas en términos de
la participación masiva de nuestra comunidad
y la organización que ofreció la Asociación de
Poinciana Villages. Los jueces reconocieron las
siguientes entidades en diferentes categorías
por su esfuerzo en llevar lo mejor de sí mismos a
nuestra comunidad:

9:00 A.M. Immediately Followed by APV Board of Directors Meeting.

POINCIANA MEDICAL CENTER EXPANDING WITH THE COMMUNITY
Poinciana Medical Center
conveniently located close to home, provides patients with the latest state-of-the art equipment. The Poinciana Community is
expanding and in response to substantial community need for its services, PMC is growing as well. Their Surgical Services Department is uniquely designed to
provide quality patient outcomes with three operating rooms and two endoscopy suites.
Poinciana Medical Center
will expand its Emergency Department to provide patients with improved speed and service. The expansion will add eight beds and
6,200 square feet to the department, “Our medical staff and administrators are tremendously proud that the community
has quickly embraced Poinciana Medical Center and trusted us with their healthcare
needs”, said Joanna Conley, Chief Executive Officer of Poinciana Medical Center.
Gregg Jacob, Director of Radiology, explains that the radiology department features
the latest available technology with all systems digitized and connected directly to
an electronic image viewing system for immediate review by a patient’s doctor.
