Tony is also a native of Central Florida, having been born
and raised in North Tampa. After graduating from Jesuit High
School, he was awarded a full athletic football scholarship
to Boise State University. He played as a fullback for four
years, ultimately graduating with honors with a degree in Civil
Engineering. Since then, Tony has worked in the construction
industry handling a variety of projects from 45 story high rises
to single family homes. His background includes work in the
facility management field and most recently he was with the
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as Senior
Chief Engineer, Disaster Relief and Recovery in Orlando.
In his new role as Chief Engineer at APV’s Public Works
Department, Tony can use his passion for helping solve
problems to create a better way of life for those around him,
and in doing so, he will continue to help make Poinciana a
stand-out community.
“I truly enjoy working with others to find solutions that improve
the quality of life for everyone in Poinciana. I look forward
to working with the amazing team at APV’s Public Works
Department,” said Tony.
Outside of engineering, Tony has a passion for cooking,
participates in a competitive kickball team, plays three
instruments, and restores golf carts. However, his greatest
enjoyment comes from spending time with his family, including
his wife Viviana and son Anthony Jr.
